Frequently Asked Questions
How do I scan a document?
Open the app and tap the camera icon on the home screen. Point your camera at the document โ SnapFile will automatically detect the edges and capture it. You can also import an image from your Photos library.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your iPhone or iPad Settings โ [Your Name] โ Subscriptions โ SnapFile Pro, then tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Settings โ Account โ Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
My documents aren't syncing to Google Drive. What should I do?
First, check that you're connected to the internet. Then go to Settings โ Connected Services and verify Google Drive shows as connected. If the issue persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting your Google Drive account.
Why is the 'Subscribe to Pro' button not working?
Make sure your device is connected to the internet and that your Apple ID is signed in. Go to Settings โ [Your Name] and confirm your account is active. If the problem continues, restart the app or reinstall it, then contact us below.
Can I use SnapFile offline?
Yes. You can scan documents without an internet connection. Document images are stored locally on your device, and classification and cloud syncing will happen automatically once you reconnect.
Which cloud storage providers are supported?
SnapFile supports Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and iCloud Drive. You can connect one or more providers from Settings โ Connected Services.
Which accounting software does SnapFile integrate with?
SnapFile integrates with QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage. Connect your accounting software from Settings โ Connected Services to enable automatic receipt syncing.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS. We do not store your document images on our servers โ they stay on your device and in your chosen cloud storage. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find your SnapFile purchase, and submit a refund request. Apple reviews all refund requests in accordance with their policies.
